6-4-16...Today is a day that can live in infamy! Today is a day that I have heard the most evil things said about God's people. But, we are all sinners. What the church needs to watch out for is "suits" in wolves clothing, especially leaders. The most damage done to churches today is the damage from false prophets, similar to the false profit that, in Jeremiah's time, said that Babylon will not take Jerusalem captive. He was killed by an arrow from God. Or when a little donkey did not want to take his false profit to curse God's people, he was killed as well. Or when an itinerant preacher compares himself to Jesus, and His first sermon when His hometown congregation tried to cast him over the cliff. The difference is that Jesus spoke the truth! When his congregation is compared to heartless devils, something is wrong. When his church is compared to a worthless vessel that needs to be destroyed, something is wrong. When a congregation is called Lucifer, because a leader did not get his way, something is wrong!
